Helen has accumulated 42 years as a registered nurse in clinical/teaching and research positions, across Hospitals/Universities in four countries, New Zealand, England, Hong Kong and Australia. Cementing her basic registered nursing qualification Helen has obtained a BA in Nursing and Education and a Master of Business by thesis and a Diploma in Remedial Massage. She is the sole director of ‘Camberwell Lymphoedema Clinic’, a private practice in Camberwell Melbourne assisted by one staff member, seeing primarily Lymphoedema but also Lipoedema Patient’s. Helen has presented at many Australian and International Lymphoedema and Lipoedema Conferences. She also held the Chairperson position of the ALA Accreditation Committee ALA for 3 years. She is a published author. She also is an active mentor for newly evolving Lymphoedema Practitioners across Australia. And she had a part time role as a Clinical Adviser with Haddenham Healthcare Australia, this role ceased in 2026. This role included advisory garment prescription with Lymphoedema practitioners across Australia, garment development and an education role in presenting Lymphoedema training and Lipoedema workshops.
